A Phoenicean Juniper in Eivissa.
I am a linguist, more specifically a phonologist.

My research interests lie in the following areas: metrical phonology, word-internal prosodic phonology, phonological opacity and Optimality Theory. I am also interested in the phonology of Romance languages.

I am currently a researcher (CR2) at CNRS associated to the lab Structures Formelles du Langage at the Université Paris 8. At present I serve as co-editor of Linguistic Inquiry Squibs and Discussion.

I graduated in Catalan philology at the UAB, Barcelona, where I obtained my PhD in Cognitive Science and Language. Before becoming a CNRS researcher, I spent one year at the Meertens Institute as a post-doctoral researcher and two years at the VU University Amsterdam.
